Trump Says He Won’t Sign Immigration Reform Without Funding for Border Wall

Trump says immigration reform must contain border wall

President Donald Trump reiterated on Wednesday that he will not sign an immigration bill unless it includes funding for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

During a joint press conference with Trump and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, the Washington Examiner‘s Sarah Westwood asked Trump if he would sign an immigration deal passed by Congress that does not include funding for a border wall.

“No, no, no,” Trump responded. “It’s got to include the wall. We need the wall for security. We need the wall for safety. We need the wall for stopping the drugs from pouring in.”
