No surprise here...
MAJORITY disapprove of Obama
More than half of America's enlisted troops surveyed in a new Military Times/Institute for Veterans and Military Families poll say they have an unfavorable opinion of President Barack Obama and his eight years of commanding the nation's military.
"Many troops see Obama less as a wartime commander in chief and more as a politician managing Pentagon affairs," writes Leo Shane III and George R. Altman in the Military Times which unveiled the results of the survey on Monday.
"Through his presidency, Obama has repeatedly promised to keep the military "the strongest fighting force the world has ever known," but many troops question his stewardship of the institution, particularly when it comes to the defense budget."
The survey found:
Enlisted troops who DON'T approve of Obama: 51.2 percent
Enlisted troops who DO approve of Obama: 34.8 percent
Enlisted troops who are neutral: 13.1 percent
