The New York Times is reporting that Megyn Kelly is departing Fox News for NBC News after 12 years reporting for cable TV’s most-watched network.
According to Jim Rutenberg, “The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.”
Kelly is one of media’s most recognizable personalities, not just in the world of television news, but in television in general. She is host of the second-most-watched program on cable news for 2016
