Pro-ISIS Messages Found on Campus of Youngstown State University

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- An Ohio college is investigating how and why a school's famed rock was painted with a pro-ISIS message Monday morning.

Multiple viewers submitted messages to WKBN-TV with photos of the rock, which is located outside Youngstown State University Kilcawley Center, painted with pro-ISIS messages. The rock is frequently used to advertise for events on campus.

One painting read, "YSU supports ISIS." Other messages seen in viewer-submitted photos are, "France deserves destruction;" "Jihad over God ISIS;" and "We are coming."

It was not immediately clear who painted the rock or when they did so, but WKBN-TV also received reports that the messages had been covered by a new layer of paint.
