An angry Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk responds to reports of Jews in eastern Ukraine being told to register with pro-Russian separatists last week.

DWS: Democrats Have an Advantage Going Into the 2014 Midterms Because Republicans Have Nominated 'Extremists' That Voters Reject (Video)

I hope there's another Republican wipeout in 2014, just like 2010. DWS is back to calling Republicans extremists, 'strangled by the tea party'

'You have the Republican Party who is strangled by the Tea Party. They are weighed down by Republican primaries in which the Tea Party candidates are the likely winners and we have countless elections now that Democrats have won because the Republicans have nominated extremists that their voters reject. And that's the advantage we will have going into this election'

Senator Corker: 'We're Going to Lose Eastern Ukraine If We Continue As We Are'....'It's Going to Be a Geopolitical Disaster'

Corker says we shouldn't be waiting to react to Russia's next move, the U.S. should sanction Russian energy companies and large banks right now

The top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee sees Russia taking full control of eastern Ukraine unless there's a major change in the approach that the United States and its allies are taking in assisting Kiev.

"I think we're going to lose eastern Ukraine if we continue as we are, and I think it's going to be a geopolitical disaster if that occurs," Sen. Bob Corker said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

"I think Russia is going to do it over time the way they're doing it with black ops, intimidation," he said.

The Tennessee Republican said the Obama administration hasn't done much to help the Ukrainians with what he views as a largely passive approach to the actions of President Vladimir Putin's Kremlin. "I think the administration is basically saying to Russia, look, don't do anything overt, don't come across the border with the 40,000 troops, don't embarrass us in that way, but you can continue to undermine the sovereignty of Ukraine by doing the things that you've done."

"I really do believe we should be sanctioning some of the companies in the energy sector. I think we should hit some of the large banks there," he said. "And certainly we should beef up our security relationship with Ukraine."

Kroger Store Manager Confronts Shoplifter Armed With a Knife, Loses Job

A Kroger store manager lost his job after he confronted a shoplifting suspect who was holding a knife.

Cell phone video shot by a shopper shows the manager taking on the suspect in the parking lot of a Kroger store in Arlington. The manager eventually takes the knife from the man and throws the suspect to the ground.

Kroger said in a statement to FOX4 the manager's actions were "not a reflection of our company's fraud prevention protocol, procedures or training."

Arlington police said the shoplifter, Claude Medlock, 51, had a lengthy criminal history that includes theft and robbery convictions. Police told FOX4 they didn't consider the manger's actions criminal.

The Kroger store manager had worked in loss prevention for 13 years and believed he handled the situation properly.

Drone Strike in Yemen Kills 9 Al Qaeda Militants

SANAA, Yemen – A Yemeni military official says an American drone strike has killed nine suspected Al Qaeda militants and inadvertently killed and wounded some civilians.

The official said the early Saturday raid targeted a car carrying the militants in the Sawmaa area in the al-Bayda province at the time another car was nearby carrying civilians.

At least six civilians were killed and wounded, the official said on condition of anonymity in line with military regulations.

The deputy governor of al-Bayda was assassinated Tuesday by suspected Al Qaeda militants.

Yemen's branch of Al Qaeda, also known as Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, is considered to be the most dangerous in the world. It overran much of the south in 2011. Yemen's army, supported by U.S. military experts and drone strikes, pushed them back, but clashes continue

Obama Adm. Ambassador for International Religious Freedom Post Remains Unfilled

At the National Prayer Breakfast on February 6th, Obama said is he 'looking forward to appointing a new ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom'
The office within the State Department develops policies regarding religious freedom and monitors religious discrimination and persecution worldwide

Here we are 2 months later and the post remains unfilled. President Obama could name somebody today, but refuses to do so.

President Barack Obama nominated Doctor Suzan Johnson Cook to be his Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, but not surprisingly, that nomination didn't come until almost a year and a half after being sworn-in in 2009.

Religious persecution around the world and protecting religious freedom are not high on Obama's list.

Fox New Bret Baier has the details-
