Poll: Romney Leads Republican Field in Iowa

Not just leading, but dominating the field with 35% of the vote, Huckabee comes in next at 9%

Romney has repeatedly said he's not interested in a third run for president. In an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt on Tuesday, he quoted the movie "Dumb and Dumber" and suggested there was only a "one in a million" chance he would give it another shot

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney leads all potential 2016 GOP candidates among Iowa voters and is nearly three times as popular as his closest rival, a new poll finds.

The former Massachusetts governor and 2012 nominee has the support of 35 percent of likely voters in the early caucus state, with former Gov. Mike Huckabee (Ark.) at 9 percent and Gov. Chris Christie (N.J.) at 6 percent, according to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released Wednesday.

The poll comes a day after Romney told conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt that, while he is pushing for another Republican besides himself to run in 2016, "circumstances can change."
Before that interview, Romney had repeatedly said that he would not run for president again.

When Romney was kept out of the mix, Huckabee led the GOP field with 13 percent, followed by Christie at 11 percent, Texas Gov. Rick Perry at 9 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 7 percent.

Among Democrats, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had 66 percent support, trailed by Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 10 percent and Vice President Biden with 8 percent.

Al Qaeda Magazine Hints of Looming Attack Against U.S.

Times Square, Las Vegas among the suggested list of targets according to the magazine

Fox News

A new English-language Al Qaeda magazine features a how-to article on making car bombs and suggests terror targets in the United States, including casinos in Las Vegas, oil tankers and military colleges, and implies that an attack is imminent.

The online publication, called “Palestine-Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience Al-Malahem” and put out by the media arm of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP, calls for Muslims around the world to follow “the recipe” provided to set off car bombs in crowded venues. It includes a timeline of "selected jihadi operations" that the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), which first flagged the slickly-produced latest edition of the terror publication, finds chilling.

“The timeline concludes with the date 201?’ and blank spaces and question marks for the photo and information of the next attack -- implying that it is coming soon.” said MEMRI Executive Director Steve Stalinsky.

There is a suggested list of targets for lone-wolf, or individually executed, terror attacks, including New York's Times Square, casinos and night clubs in Las Vegas, oil tankers and trains, the Georgia Military College, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and General Atomics defense contractor in San Diego.

There is also a list of targets in Britain including a military academy and the Marks and Spencers chain of department stores. The magazine calls for the stores to be hit on Friday during prayers so that Muslims won’t be affected.

Clothing Company Zara Pulls T-Shirts Resembling Nazi Concentration Camp Uniforms

Within hours of the 'The Sheriff' tshirt-  being put up for sale, some newspapers had picked up on its resemblance to Nazi concentration camp uniforms and messages were posted on Twitter criticizing the design. The shirt has been pulled.

A popular clothing brand has removed what some are calling a "concentration camp" shirt for kids from its shelves and website after coming under fire on social media.

Zara, a Spanish brand with outposts all over the world including the U.S., was selling in its kids' clothing line a white-and-blue striped shirt with a gold star.

Some felt the stripes in combination with a gold star reminiscent of the Star of David looked far too similar to uniforms worn in Nazi concentration camps during the Holocaust.

The fact that CNN has these 2 analysts on means that they also believe the audio could be a hoax...

The second guest is a CNN law enforcement analyst, he concurs with the officer

Video via Noah Rothman, who says -"If this audio does turn out to be inauthentic, it would be another opportunity for CNN to learn the lessons of their saturation coverage of the missing Malaysian passenger airliner; sacrificing credibility for ratings is never a good tradeoff"

'Before You Bust My Window, I'm Gonna Let You Know You're Being Recorded': Video of Driver's Confrontation with Police Officer Goes Viral

'I'm not gonna step out so you can beat the hell out of me'

Curtis Shannon recorded his traffic stop by St. Petersburg police from December on his smartphone. This week, he posted it online.

Video shows Shannon offering the officer his license and registration through a barely cracked window. When the officer tells him to step out of the car, Shannon refuses.

The request and the refusal are repeated several times.

"I've already heard enough about the SPPD. I am not going to step out of this car so you can beat the hell out of me," Shannon tells the officer, who responds "so we can do what to you?"

Shannon eventually agrees to a second officer's request, but refuses to put his phone down.

There are sounds of a scuffle, then the recording ends. Shannon was booked that night on a charge of resisting arrest with violence

George Will: The IRS is 'Off the Rails and it is Now Thoroughly Corrupted'

On Tuesday’s Special Report, George Will reacted to the revelation that the IRS destroyed Lois Lerner’s BlackBerry without searching it, after a congressional investigation into her conduct had begun. Will said he could hardly wait for IRS lawyers to show up in court and tell the judge it would be too onerous to stop obstructing justice in this case.

“The IRS is the most intrusive and potentially punitive institution of the federal government and it is a law-enforcement institution and it is off the rails and it is now thoroughly corrupted,” Will said. “And people are saying, ‘Well, the Justice Department can take care of this.’ There’s a reason why Jack Kennedy had his brother [be] attorney general. There’s a reason why Richard Nixon had his campaign manager, John Mitchell, [be] attorney general. It’s an inherently political office and it can’t be trusted in cases like this.” (the Corner)

Video: Obama Speech at American Legion - Applause Lines Fall Flat

President Obama spoke today at the American Legion’s 96th National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. It looked like he didn't really want to be there and if you listen to the reaction of the convention goers to his speech, they might not have wanted to be there either.

Here's a few clips put together, some of them he barely gets a golf clap.
