Video Captures Man Running Down 7-Months Pregnant Girlfriend With Car

Incredibly, the woman suffered only minor injuries

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- Video captured the moment police say a Florida man hit his pregnant girlfriend with his car earlier this week.

Pasco County deputies arrested Justin Lee Colby, 33, late Monday night after he allegedly struck Crystal Lynn Noordhuizen, 32, while behind the wheel of his 2006 Dodge Charger.

Police say the two had a fight earlier in the day. They say Noordhuizen, who is 7-months pregnant, left her home to avoid a confrontation and was waiting on the side of the road for a ride to pick her up.

Noordhuizen told deputies Colby called her and asked if she was ready for her abortion date. She said Colby then drove onto the grass shoulder, hitting her

Mitt Romney Won't Run in 2016

The Fox News poll released yesterday had a 'without Romney in the race' question on who Republican voters would you choose for Prez in 2016--

This survey put Jeb in the lead with 15%

washingtonpost reported:
Mitt Romney told supporters Friday that he would not run for president in 2016, ending three weeks of public speculation and sparing the Republican Party a potentially bruising nominating battle between its past nominee and its rising stars.

“After putting considerable thought into making another run for president, I’ve decided it is best to give other leaders in the party the opportunity to become our next nominee,” Romney said in a statement he read to supporters on a conference call Friday morning.

Romney said that he had enough support from potential donors to be “more than competitive” and that the positive reaction he heard from Republican activists was “surprising and heartening.” He noted that he had been leading in recent public polls.

“I am convinced that we could win the nomination, but fully realize it would have been difficult test and a hard fight,” Romney said.

Andrea Mitchell: White House 'Furious' Netanyahu Speaking to Congress

Emperor Obama angry that Boehner didn't consult him first.

newsbusters reported:
On her Thursday MSNBC show, host Andrea Mitchell was aghast at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreeing to speak before a joint session of Congress during an upcoming U.S. visit without consulting the Obama administration:

"The White House is furious, furious at Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu and also a little bit angry at Speaker Boehner for inviting Netanyahu to speak before Congress, to a joint meeting of Congress without even consulting the administration – protocol would dictate that."

Mitchell continued: "House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi even called Netanyahu to pass him the message that this is a really bad idea." A soundbite followed of Pelosi fretting over such an invitation: "That it should...be extended two weeks before an election in a country without collaboration of the leaders of Congress and without collaboration with the White House is not appropriate."

Flashback Joe Biden 2011: The Taliban is Not Our Enemy

It's not just the White House Press Secretaries...

ABC News 12/19/2011
In interview with Newsweek/Daily Beast, Vice President Biden asserted that “the Taliban per se is not our enemy.”

The ongoing reconciliation process has long included bringing in forces who have taken up arms against the U.S. and against the Afghan government, but Biden might face criticism for stating that as an organization the Taliban is not the enemy of the U.S., when its leadership and members have devoted so much time, resources and energy towards killing American soldiers.

Republicans are already circulating the quote, noting that U.S. forces are still killing, and being killed by, Taliban fighters, trying to figure out how to use the quote given the reality that any peace in Afghanistan will by necessity likely need to include a brokered peace with Taliban forces.

The interview was conducted by Les Gelb, with whom Biden authored the so-called “soft partition” plan to divide Iraq into three semi-autonomous regions: Sunni, Shi’a and Kurd.

In the wide-ranging interview, Biden talks about how Pakistan was able to live with a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, which the U.S. would have been able to do had the Taliban stopped harboring al Qaeda

"Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That's critical. There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy"
-Joe Biden, December 19th, 2011

New Fox News Poll Republican 2016: Romney Way Out In Front With 21%

The bigger headline? Romney also leads among those who identify themselves as Tea Party with 20%

Fox News
Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton remain the front-runners for their respective party’s presidential nominations. In addition, Romney performs best against Clinton among the Republicans tested in hypothetical head-to-head matchups, coming out dead even.

That’s according to the latest Fox News poll, released Thursday.  In the quest for the GOP nomination, Romney leads with 21 percent among self-identified Republicans. He’s followed by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee each at 11 percent, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 10 percent.

Then the single-digit tier:  Ben Carson earns nine percent support, followed by   Scott Walker at eight percent and  Marco Rubio at five percent.  Chris Christie,  Ted Cruz and  Rick Perry each get 4%.  .

Romney (20 percent) is the top choice among voters who consider themselves part of the Tea Party movement, followed by Carson (13 percent), and Paul and Walker (9 percent each).

Q23. I’m going to read a list of potential candidates for the 2016 Republican nomination.

Please tell me which one you would like to see as the Republican presidential nominee
Anybody remember the completely ridiculous headline from the WashExam the other day that Drudge linked to (at the top) saying Marco Rubio was surging to second place, now just 3 points behind Romney! There have been 2 polls out since then, a Rasmussen poll Friday had Rubio in 7th place with 5% . Today, Fox News also has Rubio in 7th place with 5%.  Marco Rubio has never exceeded 6% in the last 8 national polls.

Comcast Changes Customer's Name To A**Hole on Bill

The customer had recently called Comcast asking how they could lower their cable bill

Fox News
Comcast, the mammoth U.S. cable company, was reportedly forced to issue an apology Wednesday after someone at the company changed a customer's name on a bill from Ricardo to "A—hole."

Lisa Brown, who lives in Spokane, Wash., said she was shocked when she first saw the bill with her husband Ricardo's name changed. She contacted a consumer advocate blog called Elliot.org and provided it with a copy of the billing statement.

When asked what may have led to the derogatory name, Brown theorized that it could have stemmed from a recent phone call she had with the company's customer service.

Brown, a two-year customer of Comcast, explained that her family was in a tight financial spot. She called to inquire about how she could cut down her monthly bill. Brown told the blog that instead of assisting her, the representative passed her on to a retention specialist who promptly tried to keep her at her current bill and, on top of that, get her to sign a two-year contract.

"It could have been that person was upset because I didn't take the offer," she said.

Comcast, which has been criticized in the past over its customer service, was reportedly quick to respond to the issue

The Epitome of a shovel-ready project...
But Obama has promised to veto the bill

The Senate on Thursday voted 62-36 to build the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline, delivering Republicans the first legislative victory of their new majority.

Nine Democrats joined with Republicans in voting to approve the $8 billion project, five votes short of the two-thirds majority that would be needed to override a promised veto from President Obama.

The nine Democrats who voted to approve Keystone were Sens. Michael Bennet (Colo.), Tom Carper (Del.), Bob Casey Jr. (Pa.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Claire McCaskill (Mo.), Jon Tester (Mont.) and Mark Warner (Va.).

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who is traveling, missed the vote, as did Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who is recovering from eye surgery.

WH Word Games Day 2: "The Taliban Do Carry Out Tactics That Are Akin to Terrorism"

Jon Karl grills WH Press Sec. Josh Earnest over what WH Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz said yesterday.

Here's Josh Earnest explanation in a nutshell--

The Taliban and Al Qaeda both carry out terrorism, but the Taliban's terror tactics is largely confined to inside Afghanistan. However, Al Qaeda's terror tactics go beyond Afghanistan and Pakistan's borders to Americans all around the globe.

This is so stupid.

McCain Slams Code Pink Protesters At Senate Hearing: "Get Out of Here You Low-Life Scum" (Video)

According to ABC News protesters with Code Pink swarmed behind former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger as he arrived for a Senate hearing on national security.

"Arrest Henry Kissinger for war crimes!" the protesters chanted, upset over his role in the Vietnam War.

But McCain, a Vietnam veteran, fired back---"You're going to have to shut up, or I'm going to have you arrested," he told them. McCain also apologized to Kissinger for allowing their "despicable" interruption to occur.
"I've been a member of this committee for many years, and I have never seen anything as disgraceful, and outrageous, and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place," he said. "From all of my colleagues, I'd like to apologize for allowing such disgraceful behavior towards a man who served his country with the greatest distinction. I apologize profusely."
Watch the video: This is an absolute circus. McCain repeatedly asks for Capitol Police to come, but there's nobody and the protesters are directly behind Kissinger. He asks again. It takes forever to get somebody to do something here.
Nice job by John McCain --
