New Video of West Texas Explosion Surfaces

This is a massive explosion. If it was on the Drudgereport, I'm sure it would be titled 'shock video'

The video was taken by Jeff Tobola, who was sitting in a car with his son Mason near the plant when it happened.

“I just happened to throw it up at about that time,” Jeff Tobola told ABC News affiliate WFAA, saying he shot the video with only a moment to spare.

Video includes a slo-mo here-

Putin: Ukraine's Leaders Are Dragging the Country Into an 'Abyss'

Adolf Putin, looking for a reason to launch an invasion into Ukraine responds to 3 Russian fighters who were killed yesterday.

Putin also calls reports of Russian agents in Eastern Ukraine 'rubbish'

"It's all nonsense, there are no Russian units, special services or instructors in the east of Ukraine"

reuters
Reuters - Separatists attacked a base of the Ukrainian national guard overnight and Kiev said three separatists were killed, the worst bloodshed yet in a 10-day pro-Russian uprising in east Ukraine, overshadowing crisis talks to resolve the conflict.

Ukrainian, Russian and Western diplomats arrived for the emergency talks in Geneva, but there was little hope of any progress in resolving a crisis that has seen armed pro-Russian fighters seize whole swathes of Ukraine, while Moscow masses tens of thousands of troops on the frontier.

Putin  accused the authorities in Kiev of plunging the country into an "abyss".

Kiev fears that he will use any violence as a pretext to launch an invasion.

"Instead of realizing that there is something wrong with the Ukrainian government and attempting dialogue, they made more threats of force ... This is another very grave crime by Kiev's current leaders," Putin said in a televised q and a session with the Russian public that has become an annual event.

"I hope that they are able to realize what a pit, what an abyss the current authorities are in and dragging the country into," said Putin, who dismissed as "rubbish" accusations that Russian agents were acting in east Ukraine.

Congressman Vance McAllister Reelection Chances Hurt By Smoochgate- 51% Would Not Vote For Him Again

One week ago, Representative Vance McAllister said he would not resign his House seat. But a new poll shows that he may have some reelection difficulty

thehayride
In a recent poll, conducted after Rep. Vance McAllister was caught making out with his district scheduler and friend’s wife, a little more than half of respondents said the recent extra marital problem of McAllister would keep them from voting to re-elect him this November.

According to the Monroe News Star, 51 percent of those polled in the 5th Congressional District, which McAllister currently represents, said they would not vote for him again after the kissing scandal, which has yet to be settled.

Even higher, 53 percent of the random sample of 1,300 registered voters of the 170,000 registered in the district said there is not anything that McAllister can do or say that will restore their trust in him.

Longtime pollster Darrell Glascock of the Glascock Group in Pineville said he was commissioned by three Baton Rouge lobbyists to conduct the poll. He told the Monroe News Star he suspected that the lobbyists were interested in finding out if they could run a candidate in November and potentially unseat McAllister.

Beau Biden Plans 2016 Run for Governor of Delaware

Biden will not seek a 3rd term as Delaware Attorney General

Will run for governor of Delaware...

delawareonline
Beau Biden said Thursday he will not seek a third term as Delaware's attorney general in November, opting instead to focus on an election two years away for governor.

Biden, who has battled health problems over the past year, made the announcement in a writtten statement. He was not available for an interview and did not schedule a press conference. Biden's statement did not indicate whether his decision to skip a third-term was affected by his health.

In August, Biden was hospitalized at a Texas cancer center, where he underwent a procedure to remove a "small lesion" from his brain. He has remained mostly away from the public eye since, appearing at few public events while working from his Wilmington office.

Biden also was away from his office for several weeks in 2010 after suffering what was described as a "mild stroke."

more here:
Biden letter to supporters:
"Over the past few months, as I've been planning to run for reelection, I have also been giving a great deal of thought to running for Governor in 2016. What started as a thought -a very persistent thought -has now become a course of action that I wish to pursue.

"After careful consideration, I have concluded that it is not right to ask for your support in 2014, knowing that my focus would be divided between doing my job as Attorney General while at the same time running as a candidate for Governor."

"After my term is completed, I look forward to meeting with Delawareans and continuing to discuss my plans as a candidate for Governor"

New Image Obtained By ABC News Shows Pro-Muslim, Anti-American Final Message Written by Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

Written on the inside wall of the boat Tsarnaev was hiding in-
Those are bullet holes and bloodstains in the message

“The U.S. government is killing our innocent civilians, but most of you already know that… I can’t stand to see such [bullet hole] go unpunished,”  “We Muslims are one body. You kill one of us, you hurt [bullet hole] us all.”

A new image shows the bullet-riddled anti-American rant allegedly scrawled by suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the inside wall of a boat as he hid from a police manhunt last year.

Two state and two federal law enforcement officials confirmed the authenticity of the image.

Along with bullet holes that interrupt Tsarnaev’s message, the image shows drips of red liquid on the wall, which could be paint or, officials said, blood. Dzhokhar had been injured in a firefight with police hours before – the same firefight that took the life of his older brother and alleged co-conspirator Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

ABC News has previously reported Tsarnaev wrote an anti-American message on the boat, called the Slip Away II, in which he hid during the massive manhunt last April. Law enforcement sources previously said that the message also included the phrase “F*** America”. That portion of the message was not included in the image obtained by ABC News.

Fox News Poll: 6 in 10 Voters Say Obama Lies to the Country on Important matters

5 years of lies starting to catch up....

*Q26. How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters
37% most of the time
24% some of the time

 foxnews
About six in ten American voters think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.”

President Obama has been accused by political opponents and media fact-checkers alike of telling falsehoods. Frequently cited: His repeated claim that under Obamacare “If you like your plan, you can keep it” and his insistence that “the day after Benghazi happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism.”

The number of voters saying Obama lies “most of the time” includes 13 percent of Democrats. It also includes 12 percent of blacks, 16 percent of liberals, 31 percent of unmarried women and 34 percent of those under age 30 -- all key Obama constituencies.

Yet some of those groups are also among those most likely to say Obama “never” lies to the country on important matters: blacks (37 percent), Democrats (31 percent), liberals (28 percent) and women (19 percent).

Jimmy Carter to President Obama: Reject the Keystone XL Pipeline Because of Climate Change

What former president Bush called a 'no brainer,' former president Carter calls a 'danger' to the climate. What a complete ignoramus. Just forget the fact that there are already 30,000 miles of petroleum pipeline in the United States, and forget the fact that pipeline is the safest, most efficient and economical way to transport product by far.

Carter to Obama: 'You know better'

CBS News
Former President Jimmy Carter urged President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry to reject construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline on Wednesday, warning that the project would worsen the damaging effects of climate change and saying their decision would define their legacy "on one of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced."

"As you deliberate the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, you are poised to make a decision that will signal either a dangerous commitment to the status quo, or bold leadership that will inspire millions counting on you to do the right thing for our shared climate," explained a letter signed by Carter and nine other former recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize. The letter appeared as a newspaper advertisement on Wednesday morning.

The proposed project would transport crude oil harvested from tar sands in Canada to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast. Supporters have said it would be a boon for job creation and domestic energy production, but opponents have warned that oil extraction from the tar sands -- among the most carbon-intensive methods of energy production -- would greatly expand if the project is approved.

"You are among the first generation of leaders that knows better -- leaders that have the knowledge, tools, and opportunity to pivot our societies away from fossil fuels and towards smarter, safer and cleaner energy,"
