Incredible video. 4 kickers have hit the 63 yard mark- New Orleans' Tom Dempsey in 1970, Denver's Jason Elam in 1998, Oakland's Sabastian Janikowski in 2011 and San Francisco's David Akers last season. Nobody has ever hit 64 yards. The Denver Broncos Matt Prader hit it today against the Tennessee Titans
Video shows the ball clearing the goal by only a few feet or less.
Amazing. Obamacare is so awesome that it helped get us out of the great recession.
'When families spend less on health care (because of the ACA), they feel much more secure in their own budgets. When business spend less on health care (because of the ACA) they can hire more workers' -Carney
In the past, it was the Economic Stimulus that put us on a path to a strong economy, now it's the Affordable Care Act. Amazing.
Emanuel grilled by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. He can't answer a simple question and tries to shift the argument. Wallace doesn't let up on Obama's 'keep your plan' promise
Emanuel of FNS: 'The president never said you were going to have unlimited choice of any doctor in the country you want to go to. If you want to pay more for an insurance company that covers your doctor, you can do that. This is a matter of choice. We know in all sorts of places you pay more for certain — for a wider range of choices or a wider range of benefits.
Comedian Jay Mohr was host of Friday night's NASCAR event in Las Vegas and Mohr had many in the room and those watching in stitches. However, two in the crowd were not laughing at Mohr's jokes and jabs- Danica Patrick and boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
The best thing these 2 could have probably done was loosen up and laugh along just a bit. But it was obvious they were quite bothered by the jokes which made this story and video go viral in the last day.
The crowd thinks this guy is pretty funny. But watch the reaction here from Patrick and Stenhouse
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas –- Deputies said a burglary suspect was shot dead by his own gun after dropping it while trying to escape the scene of an alleged crime early Thursday.
According to deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened around 12:50 a.m. on Aldine Bender Road at Miranda Street.
Deputies said three men were breaking into a trailer home in the back of a business property when the male who lives there heard the glass breaking and got up to check out the situation.
The suspects took off running, and one of them dropped his gun. The male who lives on the property picked up the gun, and the other suspects opened fire on him, deputies said. The man returned fire, shooting one of the alleged crooks in the head.
"Well, he got what he deserved," said Steven Hooker, who works nearby.
"I work very hard, probably 60 hours a week and I'm getting penalized for it. Maybe I should just quit what I'm doing and stay at home and live off the government"
Andrew Leonard liked his plan, unfortunately he couldn't keep his plan because his did not contain -wait for it- pediatric dental. His plan was cancelled and the new plan under Obamacare raises his rate 300%

PICKENS, SC - An Upstate sheriff said in a Facebook post on Friday that he would not lower his flag for Nelson Mandela, even after an executive order from the president.
Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark said in the post that he refused to lower the flag to half-staff after the death of the former South African president, who died on Thursday. Clark continued to say in the Facebook post that it should be lowered at the United States embassy in South Africa.
Clark said in the post, "Nelson Mandela did great things for his country and was a brave man but he was not an AMERICAN!!!"
This comes after President Obama's executive order to have all American flags lowered in remembrance of Mandela.
Clark did say in the post that the department's flag would be at half-staff on Friday for an officer who died in the Lowlands, and it would also be lowered on Saturday for Pearl Harbor Day.
Here is the sheriff's full post: (via Facebook)
I usually don't post political items, but today is different. I received this notification today, "As a mark of respect for the memory of Nelson Mandela, the President orders that the flag of the United States be flown at half-staff effective immediately until sunset, December 9, 2013"
Nelson Mandela did great things for his country and was a brave man but he was not an AMERICAN!!! The flag should be lowered at our Embassy in S. Africa, but not here. Our flag is at half staff today for a Deputy in the low country who died going to help his fellow Deputy. He deserves the honor. I have ordered that the flag here at my office back up after tomorrow's mourning of Pearl Harbor Day!
The sheriff here says the flag should be lowered to half-staff for Americans who sacrifice for their country. He also says the support for his decision has been tremendous so far wistv.com - Columbia, South Carolina |
