Awesome: Minor League Baseball Team Has 'Manti Te'o Girlfriend Bobblehead Night'

First 1000 fans receive an empty box

The gag went even further with a section of the ballpark  reserved for fans with imaginary friends, a pretend kiss cam, an air guitar contest and an imaginary food fight.

"It's meant just to be a fun promotion and nothing more than that, and especially in January, we're trying to gear up for your season, sell some season tickets, sell some group outings. There's not a lot we can do to get attention in January," the team's General Manager said.

Ted Cruz: Honoring our Heroes This Memorial Day

It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press
It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech
It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protestor to burn the flag

Dem Strategist Joe Trippi: 'Political Malpractice' How the White House Has Handled These Scandals

Trippi believes that the White House has made a mistake by not getting the facts out rapidly, at the very beginning of all these scandals. The 'drip, drip, drip' Trippi says of information that is coming out is taking a toll on the administration and that criticism is  now 'crossing party lines.'  Administration need to 'reset'

Bloomberg Anti-Gun Group Goes After Democrat Mark Pryor

NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg's group has went after Jeff Flake, Marco Rubio, Kelly Ayotte and Pat Toomey, all Republicans.  Now they are running a new web ad against their first Democrat, Mark Pryor of Arkansas

Washington (CNN) - A large gun advocacy group is hitting its first Democrat in their most recent campaign to increase gun control measures. Mayors Against Illegal Guns, founded by independent New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, announced an ad Friday criticizing Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor for his recent vote against gun legislation in the Senate, including expanding background checks.
A spokesperson for the organization that includes mayors from across the country said they are putting $350,000 into 30-second spot, which features a woman who lost her friend to gun violence.
"I was so disappointed when Mark Pryor voted against comprehensive background checks," Angela Bradford-Barnes says in the spot. "On that vote he let us down. Tell Mark Pryor to take another look at background checks."
Pryor, who also knew the gun victim, said in a statement the ad is politicizing his death by "misleading people into thinking that his bill would have prevented Bill Gwatney's tragic death.

Video: Wounded Warriors Bike Alongside President Bush [Video]

Warrior 100K

CRAWFORD  Fourteen soldiers who were seriously wounded while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan were treated to a special weekend with former President George W. Bush.

From Thursday through Saturday, wounded veterans will participate in the third annual Warrior 100k, a 100-kilometer mountain bike ride, a Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative event. Bush’s initiative has two programs, “Team 43 Sports” which encompasses the W100k and the Warrior Open, a competitive golf tournament, as well as the “Circles of Excellence” which brings experts together from various institutions to brainstorm new programs for veterans.

This weekend's event highlights the bravery and sacrifice of military personnel and also recognizes veterans’ organizations. Participating warriors come from a variety of ranks from all across the nation. Three reside in Texas. “The Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge,” “Team 4MIL,” and the “Navy SEAL Foundation” are three veterans' organizations that will be recognized. The ride will run over the course of three days at the Bush’s Prairie Chapel Ranch

DNC Email: Republicans Making up So-Called 'Scandals' Out of Thin Air

townahll.com
Friday afternoon, the Democratic National Committee sent out an official email accusing Republicans of "making up so-called scandals," doctoring emails and stirring up "false rumors" about White House cover-ups.

Friend -- Getting in President Obama's way has been the top priority for Republicans in Congress since day one. But now they've gone too far.

They've been caught red-handed making up so-called 'scandals' out of thin air to stir up false rumors of vast 'cover-ups' happening in the White House. Did they find a single shred of evidence to back up their outrageous claims? No. But rather than let the truth stand in their way, Republicans actually doctored emails between administration officials about Benghazi.

Then, they released them to the press, trying to pass them off as real in order to create their scandal. Fortunately, they got caught in the act when the White House released all of the actual emails.

Tell President Obama you've got his back right now, no matter what Republicans come up with next.

....Stand with President Obama today -- and send the message to Republicans that it's time to stop playing political games and get back to work for the American people:

Its time for them to do their damn jobs.

Thanks, Brad Brad Woodhouse

Poll: Clinton Tops Marco Rubio, Rand Paul In 2016 Iowa Presidential Race

Clinton 46% Paul 42%
Clinton 48% Rubio 37%

Benghazi? What is that?

Washington - Hillary Clinton has the early edge in a key battleground state, should she choose to run for president in 2016.

Iowa voters picked her as their choice for commander in chief above top potential Republican contenders including Senators Marco Rubio and Rand Paul, in a new survey released Friday.

The Quinnipiac University poll showed Clinton would defeat Rubio by 11 percentage points, 48% to 37%, if the election were held today and would beat Paul by four percentage points, 46% to 42%. She was helped by her strong support among women.

The speculation over a Clinton presidential run is never ending, helped by her consistently high approval ratings, the perpetual campaign cycle and speculation from political operatives and journalists.

Vice President Joe Biden has not been as careful and often jokes about another run at the White House. But Biden did not fare as well in the same poll. He fell behind Rubio by one percentage point, 39% to 40%, and trailed Paul by five percentage points, 39% to 44%, among Hawkeye State voters. He was hurt by his lack of support among independent voters.

Note: There have been a number of polls that have shown Rand Paul running stronger than Marco Rubio in 2016 Pres. race
Pretty sizable lead among women voters for Hillary Clinton
