Obama Won't Meet With Netanyahu In Washington But Will Travel to Saudi Arabia Tuesday to Meet New Saudi King

2 headlines, both from CNN...

WH excuse for not meeting with Netanyahu? We don't want to influence the upcoming Israeli elections. Oh OK. How about Saudi Arabia where there are NO elections?

CNN Reported
US. President Barack Obama will travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in order to meet the newly appointed monarch, King Salman, and pay his respects to the family of the late King Abdullah, the White House said Saturday.

Vice President Joe Biden was originally set to have led a delegation to Saudi Arabia on Obama's behalf.

However, the schedule for the President's departure from India has been adjusted to allow Obama to stop in Riyadh himself on his way home, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said.

Funeral services were held Friday for King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al Saud, who died earlier that day. He was 90.

World leaders are now traveling to the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to offer condolences for Abdullah's death and pay their respects to the new ruler.

Golden State Warriors Player Breaks NBA Record By Scoring 37 Points in One Quarter (Video)

On Friday night, basketball history was made. Klay Thompson led the Golden State Warriors to victory against the Sacramento Kings Friday night single-handedly by scoring a record-breaking number of points: 37 in one quarter.

That’s more than any NBA player has ever scored in a single quarter.

As SBNation’s Seth Rosenthal put it, “This may honestly be the densest hot streak in the history of professional basketball. It was like watching an atom split on the hardwood.”

“He can’t miss!” one announcer exclaims after Thompson sinks his umpteenth 3-point shot, while the other says, “I’ve never seen a shooting display like this.”

The previous NBA single-quarter scoring record was 33, scored by George Gervin in 1978. (via  theblaze

Krauthammer: Rubio Most Likely To Win Republican Nomination

Stephen Hayes asks Charles, if you had to bet money on a candidate winning the nomination, who would it be? Krauthammer puts Rubio at the top, second is Jeb Bush.

"He's my underestimated, dark horse candidate who threads his way...I think if runs against Hillary, the contrast...will be a major one"

I just don't see it. A poll out by Gravis Marketing one week ago showed Marco Rubio in last place in the Iowa 2016 Republican caucus (Pulling in just 4%). And a Republican 2016 UMass poll had Rubio in 7th place in New Hampshire getting just 5%. He's way back. Could he catapult to the top in both of these ? Yes, it's possible. But there's a higher possibility that he won't.

Flashback: Only 21 Percent of Voters in the State of Florida Say Marco Rubio Should Run for President
52% of Florida voters oppose a 2016 presidential bid by Rubio.

Marco Rubio’s name has been on virtually every short list of Republican presidential candidates since he was elected to the Senate in 2010, but voters in his home state of Florida are not enthusiastic about him seeking the White House.

A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey finds that only 21% of Likely Florida Voters think Rubio should run for the presidency in 2016. Fifty-two percent (52%) oppose a presidential bid by the first-term senator and former speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. Twenty-six percent (26%) are undecided

Denver Woman Who Tried To Go To Syria To Fight For ISIS Gets 4 Years in Prison

DENVER - A 19-year-old suburban Denver woman was sentenced to 48 months in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to trying to help Islamic State militants.

Nineteen-year-old Shannon Conley, who was arrested at Denver International Airport in April while boarding a flight she hoped would get her to Syria, appeared in court on Friday.

Authorities say Conley wanted to marry a suitor she met online who said he was fighting with the extremists. They say she repeatedly told them she wanted to fight with him or use her nurse's aide skills to help.

Conley pleaded guilty in September to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. She could face up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine. But her sentence also depends on how well she cooperated with authorities in their investigation.

On Friday, the judge referred to Conley as "a bit of a mess" regarding her mental state. The judge also believed that Conley liked attention. Prosecutors described Conley as being defiant in jail and vitriolic towards her guards. The defense categorized her behavior as being "frustrated" with her situation.

Howard Kurtz, Megyn Kelly Say Obama YouTube Interview 'Beneath The Dignity Of The Office'

Obama YouTube interview with GloZell (Never heard of her)

Fox News’ Howard Kurtz and Megyn Kelly panned President Barack Obama’s YouTube interview Thursday evening, with the host of “Mediabuzz” calling it “beneath the dignity of the office.” The comments came on “The Kelly File.”

“When did eating milk and cereal out of your bathtub become an audition to interview the President of the United States?” Kurtz asked initially.

“I’m not some old media curmudgeon saying Obama shouldn’t go on ‘Ellen’ or ‘The View’ or ‘Colbert.’ He’s got a good sense of humor, that’s a political asset,” Kurtz said. “It just seemed beneath the dignity of the office to be hanging out with some of these YouTubers.”

Report: Senator Marco Rubio Telling His Staff To Prepare For a 2016 Presidential Run

Staffers for the Senator Rubio say 'he has told us to proceed as if he is running for president.'

Is this a good idea? No, it is not. Because of Florida State law, Marco Rubio cannot run for President and run for Senate. You can't be on the ballot for two different offices. If he runs for prez, he gives up  his senate seat, something that is his as long as he wants it. If I had to guess, I would say Marco Rubio will probably not be the Republican nominee in 2016. Rubio is a great conservative. But at age 43, he needs to stay in the U.S. Senate. We need him there.

Team Rubio is getting ready to run. The former Jeb Bush protégé, is signaling to his staff that they should prep for an eventual campaign.  "He has told us to proceed as if he is running for president," an adviser to the Florida Republican told ABC News.

Rubio has been a rising star for his party in the Senate but his presidential plans seemed to have been waylaid when his old mentor announced in December that he was exploring another Bush presidential run.

But Rubio said this week he is resolved to proceed, regardless of the other contenders for the Republican presidential nomination, and revealed he would make “a decision in due time.”

“I want to be able to mount a credible campaign for the presidency, which I believe we can do irrespective of who else is in the race,” he said Wednesday at a D.C. breakfast hosted by The Christian Science Monitor.

He has told us to proceed as if he is running for president. The 43-year-old, who has four young children, said his family supports his plans.

Rubio will meet with potential donors this weekend in Miami to garner support for his Reclaim America PAC, which could be his launching pad into funding his race for the White House.

A Hot Air poll posted earlier today of 2016 Republican candidates (14 of them) had Rubio pulling in 2%.

Chilling Video: Security Camera Captures Woman at ATM Being Forced Into Trunk at Gunpoint

This thug is hiding behind the ATM, waiting for his next victim when a young woman drives up. Watching the video, she probably should have floored it as soon as the man came to the window. He's quickly points a gun in her face. She ended up escaping but not before he took her to multiple ATMs withdrawing cash.

Texas police are hunting for a gunman who robbed a woman at a drive-through ATM, forced her into her car trunk and then drove from bank to bank demanding she withdraw money for him at each stop.

Arlington Police on Thursday released surveillance video of the Jan. 14 attack at a Wells Fargo ATM. The victim eventually escaped, but the suspect is still on the lam, WFAA reported.

The woman was using the drive-through Wells Fargo ATM early in the morning when the gunman approached her car, police said.

In the video, the man points the weapon at the woman before she pops the truck, gets out of the car and walks to the back.

The man puts her in the trunk, gets into the driver’s seat and sped off, the video shows.

200,000 At Annual March For Life in Washington-- Lib Media Gives Them 15 Seconds

Nothing from NBC Nightly, nothing from ABC's David Muir.
CBS Evening News gives them 15 seconds.
Imagine what different coverage there would be if 200,000 Occupy Wall Street protesters got together in Washington

newsbusters reported:
On Jan 22, 200,000 people descended on Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life, commemorating the 57 million babies destroyed since 1973’s Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

Of the three broadcast networks, only CBS mentioned the 2015 March for Life, allotting it just 15 seconds. That’s one second for every 13,000 people who put work and school aside and traveled from as far away as the West Coast. It’s one second for every 3.8 million babies aborted in the last 42 years.

What’s more, CBS’s coverage was part of a 2-minute, 11-second report on “moderate” GOP opposition to the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

“Evening News” host Scott Pelley noted “[t]he 42nd anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe vs. Wade which gave women the right to have an abortion.” But he then bridged into the bill banning abortions after 20 weeks.

U.S. Officials Say 6,000 ISIS Fighters Killed

Coming from the same bunch that told us there was no military solution in Iraq.

Washington (CNN) The coalition fighting ISIS has killed more than 6,000 fighters, including half of the top command of the terror group, U.S. diplomatic officials said Thursday.

The number of fighters killed has not been publicly discussed before but was disclosed by the U.S. ambassador to Iraq Stuart Jones, who told Al Arabiya television earlier in the day that an estimated 6,000 fighters have been killed. Jones said the military effort was having a "devastating" impact on ISIS.

The estimate was calculated by U.S. Central Command and finds ISIS fighters have been killed in Iraq and Syria by coalition airstrikes, according to a U.S. military official. CENTCOM has kept a running estimate of fighters killed, but has not made it public.

U.S. intelligence estimates that ISIS has a total force of somewhere between 9,000 to 18,000 fighters. However, it is also believed the group can draw on thousands of other fighters whose loyalty shifts and could muster a force upwards of 31,000 total.

Flashback:  'There's not gonna be a military solution to this problem, there's no amount of American Firepower that's gonna be able to hold the country together'
