ISIS Fighter Who Defected Says ISIS Was Well Prepared For Coalition Airstrikes, Moving Fighters To Civilian Areas and Weapons Underground (VIDEO)

An ISIS defector says the atrocities by the group were too brutal for him so he shaved his beard and fled to Turkey. Speaking to CNN's Arwa Damon he says ISIS knew airstrikes were coming and prepared, moving weaponry underground and fighters to areas that wouldn't be hit

Damon then interviews an ISIS militant via Skype.  The fighter, using the pseudonym Abu Talha, says ISIS was anticipating strikes from the west, "We've been ready for this for some time," Abu Talha said. "We know that our bases are known because they're tracking us with radars and satellites, so we had backup locations."

He tells Arwa Damon that strikes on oilfields are not having an effect, "We have revenues other than oil. We have other avenues, and our finances are not going to stop just because of oil losses"

He ends his interview with, 'we will defeat the infidels'

WATCH: Gubernatorial Candidate Smokes Pot in Campaign Video

(Screen grab) Write-in candidate for R.I. Governor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A medical marijuana advocate turned write-in candidate for Rhode Island governor has garnered instant social media attention by smoking what she says is pot in a campaign video.

But her media stunt comes with a more serious political message about pot legalization.

“I’m Anne Armstrong, and I’m going to be the next governor of Rhode Island,” she says in the minute-and-a-half-long video. “And I hope that during my tenure, I will be able to dispel a number of misconceptions about cannabis use.”

Armstrong, who said she smokes cannabis every day, uses it for medicinal purposes, and also argues that it helps her focus and communicate with people around her. In the video, she takes a hit off a pipe after insisting that pot users “shouldn’t be ostracized or marginalized.”

Here is the campaign ad-
She says,  “We’ve been lied to for a long time by our government, and something that’s been essential to our health has been taken away from us”

Amazing Time-Lapse Video: Dad Takes Photo of Son Every Day For 4 Years

A father has taken a photo of his son, Ray, every day for the last 4 years and made them into an amazing YouTube time-lapse video.

The father said he’s been taking the photos for so long, it seems normal to Ray.

“He’s the sweetest kid, love him so much. He still thinks it’s completely normal that I take his picture every day, doesn’t even question it, ha. There will possibly be a day when he figures out that doing this isn’t the law of every household,” the post says.

The father calls it the “Picture Every Day Project.”

Justice Department Tells Ferguson Police To Stop Wearing Bracelets Supporting Darren Wilson

FERGUSON Mo. (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department asked the Ferguson, Missouri, Police Department on Friday to order its officers not to wear bracelets in support of the white policeman who shot to death an unarmed black teenager last month, sparking protests.

In a letter to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson, the Justice Department said residents had told its investigators that officers policing protest sites on Tuesday in Ferguson were seen wearing "I am Darren Wilson" bracelets.

Wilson killed 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9, causing outrage in the mostly black St. Louis suburb of 21,000 people. Wilson has not been charged in the case.
