McCain: One of the Leaders in the Gulf Told Me, "We Believe It Is More Dangerous To Be a Friend of America Than An Enemy"

Everybody's been saying, friends are enemies and enemies are friends under Obama foreign policy.

Now, one of the leaders of the Gulf states has told McCain that it's now "more dangerous" to be a friend to America.
Unbelievable.

Here's McCain at a press conference yesterday- He quotes this leader verbatim

Krauthammer: Harry Reid Was a Disgrace

Charles: 'I will be unrestrained' in my commentary here...

In a heartfelt goodbye message for the departing Senate Minority Leader, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer called Sen. Harry Reid “a disgrace” to the institution he led until the GOP won it back in November.

Appearing on “Special Report,” Krauthammer told guest host Shannon Bream that Reid was a disgrace because he “emasculated” the chamber “in the name of protecting” President Obama and his agenda.

Despite Saudi-led Airstrikes, Iranian-Backed Shiite Rebels Continue Advance in Yemen

Saudi Arabia signaled yesterday that they wouldn't rule out using ground troops in Yemen.

washingtonpost
SANAA, Yemen — Shiite rebels reached the outskirts of the key southern city of Aden on Friday, boldly defying a bombing campaign led by Saudi Arabia that is seeking to push them back and carve out a protected space for the country’s beleaguered president.

The drive by the rebels, known as Houthis, indicates they have not been intimidated by a growing, Saudi-led force of at least 10 nations that have pledged aircraft and ships in a major operation to stop the insurgents. The U.S. government is contributing intelligence and logistics aid to the Saudi-led offensive.

The fighting reflects how this impoverished Arabian Peninsula country may be turning into a battleground between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran, the region’s foremost powers. The Saudis accuse the Iranians of arming the Houthi rebels.

Senator Reid Backs Chuck Schumer to Succeed Him as Dem Leader

Reid: Senator Schumer "has earned it"

Dick Durbin is the current #2 Dem

ABC News
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is backing New York Sen. Chuck Schumer to succeed him as Democratic leader.

Reid issued his endorsement Friday morning, shortly after announcing he would be retiring next year instead of running for re-election.

Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson says that the choice is up to Senate Democrats, "but Sen. Reid thinks Sen. Schumer has earned it."

Schumer is currently the Senate Democrats' third-in-command, behind Dick Durbin of Illinois. The outspoken and politically astute Schumer was already viewed as Reid's most likely successor. But Reid's decision to bypass Durbin and give his blessing to Schumer could seal the deal.

Senator Harry Reid Won't Seek Re-Election in 2016

Senator Harry Reid announced this morning that he will retire at the end of his term.

"This accident has caused Landra and me to have a little down time. I have had time to ponder and to think. We've got to be more concerned about the country, the Senate, the state of Nevada than about ourselves. And as a result of that, I'm not going to run for re-election"

Just a few months ago, (in January) Harry Reid said his fall and eye injury would not keep him from seeking reelection

ABC News
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid announced today he will not seek re-election in 2016, ending a Senate career that has spanned three decades.

Known for his feisty and combative style in the Senate, the 75-year-old Nevada Democrat made the announcement in a YouTube video earlier this morning.

Earlier this year, Reid suffered a serious eye injury while exercising at home, causing him to reconsider whether he would seek re-election in 2016.

"This accident has caused Landra and me to have a little down time. I have had time to ponder and to think," Reid said. "We've got to be more concerned about the country"

Reid has led Senate Democrats for the past eight years, first as Senate Majority Leader from 2007 until this year when Republicans took control of the Senate, bumping him to Senate Minority Leader.
Here's Reid's announcing retirement from the senate in a pretty elaborate web video.

Jeb Bush Calls Out Obama's 'Dangerous, Alice in Wonderland' Foreign Policy (VIDEO)

Brian Kilmeade welcomed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to his "Kilmeade & Friends" show on Fox News Radio this morning.

The possible 2016 presidential candidate discussed at length his opposition to President Obama's "Alice in Wonderland" foreign policy.

In a column earlier this week in National Review, Bush criticized Obama's handling of the Iran nuclear negotiations, saying the president is making a mistake by "trusting our enemies."

On Obama's policies toward Israel and Iran:
"As we've disengaged in his first term of office, now we're seeing the ramifications. The implications of instability are becoming more and more apparent. Americans want their president to keep America's citizens secure. This policy of pulling back, of disengagement, is not the right approach. ... It's an Alice in Wonderland foreign policy. It makes no sense."

On Obama's strained relationship with Netanyahu:
"It does damage to the rest of the region as well. People in the Persian Gulf, Egypt, Jordan, and other places. They look at our relationship being ruptured with Israel and they wonder, well, how can we get a good deal? How are we going to have our voice heard? This instability that comes from not having the back of our strongest ally is quite dangerous."
