Scott Walker's First Ad (Video)

The first ad making the case for Scott Walker for president, from his newly formed committee called "Our American Revival"

Watch the video here---

"America stands on the brink," says the voiceover. "At a time and place in our history where failed leaders preside over a nation adrift. With family incomes in steady decline. Dreams stifled. A foreign policy that apologizes for America and projects weakness abroad."

At this moment, a still picture of Hillary Clinton comes on screen, and the voiceover continues. "American can't stop this by looking to the past or for answers in Washinton, D.C."

The committee then makes the case for someone from outside Washington, who's been responsible for bold and fresh ideas--that is, Scott Walker. Touting, in particular, these ideas: "conservative reform," "new ideas," "empower people," "eliminate deficits," reduce government," "cut taxes," and "create jobs." (weeklystandard)

Dem 2016: Clinton 59, Warren 12, Biden 6, Sanders 4, Webb 3

Looking at all the Democrat President 2016 polling, these numbers really haven't changed since last just July. Warren has been between 9-15, Hillary between 59-67

The race to be the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nominee is still Hillary Clinton’s to lose.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey asked Likely Democratic Voters to choose among six of the early presidential hopefuls from their party as if their state primary were held right now. Clinton remains far and away the leader with 59% support. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is in second place, but she earns just 12% of the vote.

The remaining four candidates each get single-digit support: Vice President Joe Biden (6%), Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (4%), former Virginia Senator Jim Webb (3%) and former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley (2%). Five percent (5%) like some other candidate, and nine percent (9%) are undecided

GoDaddy Pulls Puppy Super Bowl Ad After Animal-Rights Complaints (Video)

All on purpose? I wouldn't doubt if GoDaddy made the video, knowing they would pull it a few days before the Super Bowl. Create a controversy and gets thousands of headlines without spending one penny. And that's what's happened

Mess with puppies at your own peril during Super Bowl week, GoDaddy.com learned Tuesday. The company wound up vowing not to air its ad during the big game this Sunday after unveiling it this morning, to widespread disgust.

The ad, “Journey Home,” mocked Budweiser’s highly anticipated “Lost Dog” Super Bowl ad that the beer label has been teasing — which, in turn, is a sequel to its wildly popular 2014 Super Bowl ad “Puppy Love.”

In GoDaddy’s ad, an adorable golden retriever puppy named Buddy is traveling with his mom and sibling in a box in the back of a pickup truck, when he’s tossed out as the truck hits a bump. Buddy goes through quite a lot to make his way back to his home, where he’s scooped up by his human guardian who is thrilled he made it back to them — because she’d already sold him on her new website she set up using GoDaddy.com.

Top House Democrat Won’t Say If An Unborn Baby At 20 Weeks Is A “Human Being”…

Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, would not directly answer when asked the yes-no question of whether an unborn child 20 weeks into pregnancy is a human being.

At the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, Jan. 27, CNSNews.com asked the congressman: “Do you think an unborn child 20 weeks into pregnancy is a human being?”

Becerra said: “You know my wife’s an OB/GYN, and I know having watched as we raise our three daughters, there is no one who knows more about what’s in the best interest of a child than the mother–and I say that as a very proud father and I have total faith when my wife makes a decision. She does it in the best interest of her family and her kids and obviously me as well.”

“So when a woman has to make a decision, I have full faith in what that woman will do because my sense is that, over the millennia, women have had to deal with these issues far more than men,” said Becerra. “And so, when someone says to me that you’re going to put at risk a woman’s health to make a political, social point, it’s just not–I don’t believe we should be legislating what a woman should do. We got to believe that our mothers and our sisters and our daughters know better than a politician in Washington, D.C.”

Jordan Ready To Trade Inmate For Pilot Held by ISIS

Jordan wants evidence that the pilot is alive and in good health first

Jordan is ready to swap a prisoner convicted of a deadly terrorist attack on a hotel for a Jordanian pilot held by Islamic State militants, a top Jordan official said Wednesday, but there was no word on whether a Japanese hostage facing a 24-hour deadline would be included in any exchange.

Mohammed Al Momani, Jordan's minister for media affairs and communications, said in a statement that Jordan "is ready to release the Iraqi prisoner, Sajida al-Rishawi, if the Jordanian pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, is released unharmed,'' according to Jordan's state-run news agency, Petra.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said on Twitter that Jordan had asked for "evidence about the health and safety" of the pilot, but that it had not received any response.

Al-Rishawi, an Iraqi woman, has been sentenced to death in Jordan for involvement in a 2005 terror attack by suicide bombers on an Amman hotel that killed 60 people, most of them attending a wedding reception. She survived after her suicide vest failed to explode.

Caught on Video: UPS Worker Throws Packages, Urinates On House

HOUSTON (KHOU) - It's behavior you would never expect from a UPS worker and it's all caught on camera.

The worker dumps the packages he's delivering and then decides to relieve himself.

"I don't know how UPS trains their employees to go to the bathroom, but probably not someone's yard," said Ben Lucas, the homeowner. Lucas watched the video over and over again.

"It's not like the cameras are hidden, he did a quick look around," said Lucas. He was already outraged by the way the guy threw the packages, that cracked the shell of his brand new ammo cleaning machine. But what happened next outraged him even more.

"You're paying someone to take a package to go from point A to point B, so basically I paid someone to come to my house and pee on it," said Lucas.

Ben says he called UPS repeatedly telling them what happened.

Krauthammer: Ted Cruz Very Articulate, But Hasn't Yet Accomplished Very Much (Video)

I can already see the headline. 'Krauthammer trashes Ted Cruz.' But Charles is simply making the point (that every single one of us made in 2008) that Ted Cruz is a new senator, a first-termer, that he might do better next cycle after some time and experience in the U.S. Senate. Charles does call him a great articulator of conservatism but says he has time to run.

O'Reilly asks Charles about his recent bet-- putting the most money on Marco Rubio. Krauthammer clarifies that he's simply putting some money on a long shot. That was the reason for his $40 bucks on Rubio when asked by Stephen Hayes on Special Report

Charles says Marco Rubio has  5 1/2-to-1 odds, Jeb Bush has 2-to-1 odds.

Incredible Video: 21 Holocaust Survivors Return to Auschwitz 70 Years After It Was Liberated

On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, a group of 21 Holocaust survivors from the U.S. return to the place where 1/3 of a million Jews were killed in just 8 weeks.

The 21 stand under the entrance to Auschwitz-
'Work makes you free'

Some of them break down. Many of them lost their entire families.

NBC's Chief Global Correspondent Bill Neely went with the group yesterday. Neely says at the height of the extermination, 10,000 a day were slaughtered at Auschwitz, one-third of a million people total. Most of them killed within one hour of arriving on the train.

Must-see video--
70 years later, it still seem like yesterday to these survivors

"Inaccurate Media Reporting"... U.S. Army Denies Desertion Charge For Bowe Bergdahl

According to NBC News, the charge would be based on allegations the soldier abandoned his outpost in Afghanistan in June 2009

skynews  reported:
The US Army has denied a report that Bowe Bergdahl is to be charged with desertion over his 2009 disappearance from an Afghan base.

Citing defence officials, NBC said the charges could come against the soldier within a week. But Lt Col Alayne Conway, spokeswoman for Army public affairs, said no decision had been made yet in the Bergdahl case.

She said: "We are aware of the inaccurate media reporting. To be clear there have been no actions or decisions on the Sgt Bergdahl investigation."

Lt Col Conway said investigators were still determining next steps in the case, which could range from no further action to a court martial.

We cannot discuss or disclose the findings of the investigation while disciplinary decisions are pending before commanders," she added.
