This is why they win and we lose. The other side is 100% committed to defeating Republicans. They have no problem putting their differences aside at the end of the day if it means they attain power. Our side? We have #NeverTrumpers. Conservative talkers like Beck and Levin who say they won't vote for Trump. Websites trying to torpedo Trump. People who are gonna stay home because their candidate didn't win. Former Presidential candidates (like Cruz and Kasich) who won't endorse even after they promised to support the nominee. And people who say they will steal it from Trump at the Convention. It is a recipe for certain defeat.
If we lose in November, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
business insider reported:
Sen. Bernie Sanders is expected to endorse Hillary Clinton at their first joint campaign appearance since the end of the Democratic presidential primary.
In a brief joint statement on Monday, the two Democratic primary rivals announced that they would appear together on Tuesday in New Hampshire to "discuss their commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top."
Though the primary ended, in effect, more than one month ago after voting in New Jersey and California, the senator withheld his endorsement and refused to concede the race to Clinton.
Sanders instead hit the campaign trail for several candidates for the House of Representatives and attempted to move the official Democratic Party platform to the left on issues like the minimum wage and Social Security benefits.
