Mayor Eric Garcetti was escorted out for safety Monday night from a town hall held inside a South Los Angeles Church.
Protesters first stood up and shouted down the mayor while he was speaking. When police escorted him out, Black Lies Matter protesters then swarmed him as he got into his vehicle. They then surrounded the car and prevented him from leaving. Raw video showed one of the protesters walking on top of the mayor's car with a half dozen police officers standing right there. There were no arrests, of course.
