Fiorina: 'There Are a Lot of Liberals Who Find Me Kind of Scary Right Now Because I Am Doing Really Well in the Polls'

As Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina moves up in the polls, media outlets are upping their attacks.

In particular, MSNBC went after the GOP contender for allegedly mismanaging money and failing to pay vendors for their work during her 2010 California Senate campaign.

"There are a lot of liberals who find me kind of scary right now, because I am doing really well in the polls and – horror of horrors – I am a conservative woman," Fiorina said.

She explained that not only were those debts paid, but the media never made a big story out of Hillary Clinton's campaign debt, which was 40 times the size of Fiorina's.

"I don't think facts are the point here at all," Fiorina said, noting that recent polls have her defeating Clinton in Iowa and New Hampshire.
