Bush: I Would Have Taken Clinton To Task on Emails

The 4 Dem challengers with Clinton on the debate stage did not raise the email issue. Instead, Bernie Sanders  defended Clinton on the issue, suggesting the controversy is old news.

"I think the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails," Sanders said.

GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Wednesday said he would have challenged Hillary Clinton on the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server, something her rivals did not do during the first Democratic presidential debate.

"I thought it was interesting that they didn't go after her, particularly on the email issue, because look, there's an FBI investigation, she hasn't been forthcoming," the former Florida governor said on "Fox and Friends."

"It's clear the Russians and Chinese were trying to hack into her server," Bush said of the former secretary of State. "Information crossing that server was of national security interest, for sure."

"I would have taken her to task for that, and if she wins the nomination and if I win the nomination, trust me, this is not going to end," Bush added.
