Only 21% favorable
As more damning evidence is released regarding Bill Cosby’s history of alleged sexual assaults, Americans have a much more negative view of the legendary comedian but stop short of calling for his Presidential Medal of Freedom to be revoked.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 21% of American Adults now have a favorable impression of Cosby. That’s a 21-point drop from last November when the assault allegations first made news. 66% now view Cosby unfavorably, up from 36% in the earlier survey. The latest findings include seven percent with a Very Favorable opinion of the former “The Cosby Show” star and 36% with a Very Unfavorable opinion.
