NYPD Detective Patrick Cherry was interviewed by NBC 4. He apologizes for his behavior. I just wonder how many people have received a tongue-lashing from Cherry in the past that weren't recorded on a cellphone. Remember, this incident (with the Uber driver) was over horn and a turn signal.

The hotheaded NYPD officer caught on cellphone video berating an Uber driver issued a humble mea culpa Friday — shortly after he was interviewed by the Civilian Complaint Review Board.
“People shouldn’t be treated that way. I let my emotions get the better of me and I was angry,” Det. Patrick Cherry said to NBC4 New York.
“My intention was to be courteous and then we got into an argument.”
Cherry said the ranting behavior captured in the video — which has been viewed nearly 3 million times since it was uploaded to YouTube Monday — was not his normal conduct.
“I apologize. I sincerely apologize,” he told NBC4
