Washington, D.C. -- Nevada Sen. Harry Reid is set to undergo surgery again following an injury last month to his right eye.
Reid's office sent the following statement to Action News on Monday:
"On Wednesday morning, Senator Reid will undergo a follow-up surgery on his right eye at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. This is a necessary step to assist in recovering full vision in his right eye. His recovery will require him to miss the rest of the week but he is not expected to miss any more time in the office beyond that."Reid was injured during an exercise accident at his home in Henderson.
