Screen grab

A new six figure TV ad buy in Indiana from the Club For Growth, which is backing state Treasurer Richard Mourdock in the Senate race. The new spot ties Sen. Richard Lugar to President Obama and says 35 years in Washington is enough.
"What's happened to Dick Lugar," asks the narrator of the ad. "He was a respected national leader; a statesman. Then, he became part of the problem, joining the liberals in voting for record debt, bailouts and tax hikes," she continues, as a photograph of Lugar and Obama is shown. The Club is spending $421,000 on the new buy, according to an independent expenditure filing with the Federal Election Commission. The primary is May 8.
